American critic James Suckling published his ranking on best quality/price wine ratio. Our 2018 Pinot Noir from Marques de Casa Concha was placed within the first 40 places and ranked first of its variety. Year after year, Suckling compiles a list of the best value wines in the world, where quality, price, and availability are the main criteria for his selection, along with wines preceding 94 points and sold for US$30 (average price) or less.
Thus, this year, Marques de Casa Concha Pinot Noir 2018 was ranked 39th and first in its variety. In his note, he points out that it is “a pinot noir with authentic mineral, salty, cherry and light smoky character. Medium body and super-refined tannins. Complex and layered. Spicy and juicy on the finish. Drink now or store”.
