Once again Marques de Casa Concha has been singled out and awarded robust scores by the American wine critic, James Suckling, during a new visit to Chile in February 2024. Suckling, accompanied by the media outlet’s senior editor, Zekun Shuai, tasted the different varieties of the brand together with Marcelo Papa, the Technical Director at Viña Concha y Toro.
Thus, Marques de Casa Concha Etiqueta Negra Cabernet Sauvignon achieved a notable 93 points with its 2021 vintage, positioning itself among the great red wines from Chile and specifically from the Maipo Valley.
Marques de Concha Chardonnay 2022 and Pinot Noir 2022 also earned an outstanding 93 points, attesting to the extraordinary attributes of the Limarí Valley as an area of global renown for growing these varieties.
Meanwhile, the red varieties Cabernet Sauvignon 2022, Carmenère 2022 and Merlot 2021 each garnered 92 points, maintaining the consistent performance of the Maipo, Rapel (Peumo) and Maule valleys, respectively.
In light of these great results, Marques de Casa Concha has once again ratified the continuous consistency and quality of each of its varieties with excellent scores in excess of 92 points.
