This Cabernet Sauvignons was praised by Joshua Greene, the critic in charge of covering Chilean wines for the US magazine.
With a blind panel, the US magazine Wine & Spirits tasted 67 new releases of red wines from Maipo for its June issue. Joshua Greene, the critic in charge of Chilean wines, awarded 18 exceptional scores (out of 90 points).
Among the outstanding wines was Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 also scored 92 points. For Greene, the transformation of this wine has been one of the most significant achievements of winemaker Marcelo Papa and his winemaking team. “… 2018 with finesse in its tannins and pleasant strawberry, strawberry, and plum flavors. It is a great Cabernet with a Bordeaux accent and a Chilean touch,” he detailed.
