The Marques de Casa Concha brand, led by winemaker Marcelo Papa, obtained great results at Harpers Wine Stars 2021, the prestigious British wine and sparkling wine specialist magazine’s annual awards ceremony Harpers Wine & Spirit.
Not only Marques de Casa Concha but other Chilean wines stood out at the awards, according to Papa, who is the brand’s oenologist and technical director of Concha y Toro.
“It’s fair to say that this reflects Chile’s modern complexity, which has proven to be an incredibly varied home for winemaking, with much to delight in its ever-expanding palette,” according to the magazine.
This is evidenced by the remarkable results obtained by Marques de Casa Concha at Harpers Wine Stars 2021, the world-renowned wine tasting competition by buyers for buyers. It also establishes, once again, the brand as a great exponent of quality in its different varieties and the terroir they come from.
The recognitions were:
– 5 stars for Marques de Casa Concha Pinot Noir Limited Edition 2018.
– 4 stars for Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon 2017.
– 4 stars for Marques de Casa Concha Carmenere 2018.
– 4 stars for Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay 2018.
– 4 stars for Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay Limited Edition 2018.
– 4 stars for Marques de Casa Concha Merlot 2017.
– 4 stars for Marques de Casa Concha Syrah 2017.
– 3 stars for Marques de Casa Concha Pinot Noir 2018.
