Massimo Leonori, Concha y Toro’s Head Sommelier, presented Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay 2018 to the British Three Wine Men on January 14 via a webinar led by Oz Clarke.
Clarke gave insight into the wine’s origin, telling a little of Marques de Casa Concha’s history and then entering fully into the tasting and conversation with Leonori.
“Concha y Toro was one of the first companies to take Limarí seriously and invest in making this arid northern area flourish. It has paid off. Year after year, they produce tasty and impressive Chardonnays here, and have led the way in Limari being suggested as the best region in Chile for Chardonnay,” Clarke said. Cristián Vallejos from Viña VIK and Jon Usabiaga from Viña Aresti also participated in the presentation attended by wine lovers and followers worldwide.
