The Technical Director and Winemaker of Concha y Toro participated in the virtual event held by the specialized magazine, where he led a special tasting on the Chardonnay variety.
The traditional Top 100 Tasting event held annually by Wine & Spirits -one of the most influential specialized magazines in the world- changed to a virtual meeting, due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19. The event, which was renamed Top 100 Sessions, was attended by the Technical Director and Winemaker of Concha y Toro, Marcelo Papa.
The session held on Sunday called ‘Chardonnay’s Terroir Transparency’ presented a Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay 2018 tasting, which has positioned itself as a great exponent of the Limari Valley.
The event, that took place between 12 and 16 November, brought together prestigious winemakers from the companies listed on the Top 100 Wineries of the Year, recognition given by Wine & Spirits and received by Concha y Toro on 26 occasions.
