During a tour guided by Wine Ambassador Pablo Pressac, the Wines of Origin portfolio hosted a variety of activities, including the celebration of Marques de Casa Concha’s 40th anniversary.

From July 23 through August 13, Asian Zone Wine Ambassador Pablo Pressac led a number of events in some of Asia’s most important cities.

The first destination was Seoul, Korea, where he offered two successful Marques de Casa Concha master classes for VIP customers of the Lotte Department Store, organized in conjunction with Keumyang, Concha y Toro’s primary fine wine distributor in this market. Pressac also led a training session for the Sinhap sales team, in which he explained the concepts behind Marques de Casa Concha and gave in-depth explanations of the brand’s latest projects.

In Bali, Indonesia, Pablo led a wine dinner for the Lebanese embassy with a tasting of some of the outstanding red wines in this line overseen by winemaker Marcelo Papa.

Pressac traveled on to Jakarta to a master class for key members of the local trade. He later participated in a Don Melchor tasting dinner during which the guests enjoyed the 2006, 2009, 2011, and 2012 vintages of the iconic Cabernet Sauvignon.

In Kuala Lumpur, Pressac met with the staff of Muihua Wine & Spirits for a training session and master class on the history, tradition, and innovation of Marques de Casa Concha along with a tasting of some of the wines included in the line.

The Wine Ambassador brought his successful Asian tour to a close in Manila, Philippines, with a master class for 40 members of the press, and important chefs, sommeliers, buyers, and customers.
