MARCELO PAPA PARTICIPATES IN THE DESCORCHADOS WINE FAIR IN BRAZIL
THE WINEMAKER ATTENDED THE LAUNCH OF THE BRAZILIAN VERSION OF THE CHILE’S MOST COMPLETE AND PRESTIGIOUS WINE GUIDE.
In an event attended by hundreds of people, Marcelo Papa presented numerous wines from the Marques de Casa Concha line that had been highlighted in the 2017 Descorchados, Chile’s most important wine guide. The Brazilian edition of the guide, now in its eighth year, was released on April 11 in the Praça São Lourenço in Sao Paulo.
The fair was organized in conjunction with Adega magazine and attended by the most important wineries from Chile, Argentina, and Brazil as well as journalists, sommeliers, and the magazine’s subscribers, who were able to taste some of the guide’s top wines. Concha y Toro winemaker Marcelo Papa participated with the 2013 Don Melchor, which earned 96 points, the 2015 Terrunyo Carmenere (95 points), and Marques de Casa Concha wines: the 2015 Chardonnay (94 points), 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (93 points), and 2014 Carmenere (92 points), for yet another successful participation in one of the southern hemisphere’s most anticipated wine events.
